Selfish
Why would you leave me here alone? I feel abandoned and unaware You could have chosen a different path Leaving your loved ones behind is so unfair No one had a clue to your tears and mental despair You always hid your feelings so well Looking content and happy with your life No one would think of bidding you a farewell So many broken hearts were lingering Remembering the day we had to let you go You looked so innocent and peaceful And you have always had that special glow I recognize that I’m not the only one That you’ve caused this resentment and pain There’s all your friends and family You’re careless decision they could never explain Kyle you’ll never be forgotten In our hearts is where you’ll find your place Even though there will forever be that void Without you here will always be an empty space © Autumn Mae Franklin
