The Ways of the Sun and Moon
As the sun shall set another days at end And the moon shall rise knowing we'll always be friends, I sit and listen to silence from the night When everything sleeps until daylight The moon is shining with stars aside The dark night covers with clouds and hides, The night is so patient with its calmness stare In the morning the sun shall be up there The moon has left, the stars went too The sun came up and there was you, You come to my side at the break of each day You come to see me and what do you say? The first words I hear are good morning, dear friend This day has brought another night to an end, Remember as you lay in bed tonight The sun goes down and brings moonlight Remember another day comes soon When the sun leaves our friendship up to the moon
