I cuddled Teddy every day. Teddy gave me comfort, when Daddy worked away. When Daddy came home from work, His jacket would hang near the door, every morning it was there, My Daddy I loved and adored. Mummy and Daddy were yelling… One night before I slept. Daddy’s jacket was gone in the morning… I heard Mummy crying in bed. “What’s wrong Mummy, where’s Daddy?” Mummy wiped her tears and wept… “Daddy and I have parted… Don’t worry, I love you,” she said. We moved to a place up north, My Mummy, my Sister and I… But my Teddy stayed at home, we’d left Daddy and Teddy behind.
