Sukiyaki: Autumn Dreams
These past few days it seems you visit more my dreams of springtime love, yet I feel the cold inside my skin I reach out to you, but wake up to a new dawn of another day without you. The autumn air seeps through the warmest sight in view I shiver then, I go back to those days again. Do you think the same, of frolics in the rain? Sweet memories will always haunt me. Will I have one more glimpse of you before our time trickles down our last sinew. Wishes still do come true, now I’m in front of you We’re still both young, bolder, more self-assured this time. Vague at the back of my mind, gasping, I push the thought aside. You’ve come to visit in my dreams. Wishes still do come true, now I’m in front of you We’re still both young, bolder, more self-assured this time. Vague at the back of my mind, gasping, I push the thought aside. You’ve come to visit in my dreams. You’ve come to visit in my dreams. ** It should be sung to the melody of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C35DrtPlUbc SUKIYAKI Contest Sponsor: James Rogers 23 August 2015 image credit: Stafford Lakay
