A Sandy Survivor
A Sandy Survivor Prayed to Lord I love again today, What to everyone should I start to say? So they won't worry when I reassert I will have God remove all their hurt. You are my Savior who I believe in; Forever my friend have always been By myself am certain cannot do it all May make enemies and many appall. Up unto a good, fine man, I finally grew Wondering about people's points of view They never knew or saw things like me While I wanted world much better to be. They had given up and stopped thinking Into deep rut did appear to be sinking Both prejudice and bias were overcome by While I stood here having not known why. It came to me like a quick light in the night My temptation off God helped me to fight He taught that sin only causes alarm And He can save me from all harm. Said prayers and crucifix would kiss; May be many things which I will miss But God will be there at my very door Knowing I am always worth waiting for. Became Sandy Survivor saved by the Lord If I were to lose everything I could afford I know that He never will ever forget As sun will rise and then soon does set. After I had slept all through the night And by Lord had been inspired to write So with you this poem do want to share For those desperate and in deep despair.
