Two Women
Two Women I looked into a window and saw two women whose hopes had been ripped away from them. And they lost all natural beauty, And a man from the dessert was walking heavy laden, burdened with the sorrow I feel deep down in my bowels, A hole I tell you, he bore the weight of a soul that cannot receive the warmth of God. And his shadow struck the two hands and heads of the women, and they were healed instantly. In that moment, I felt a warmth in my soul and I threw up my hands and gave my life to sorrow. And this sorrow becomes dark at times, so very dark. But when I consider the people who have lost all hope and have lost their natural beauty, When I consider this burden and the hope of my shadow falling upon them and them knowing for just a moment that God’s love is real and there is no need to fear, Then I think of the sorrow I chose and know joy.
