The Dining Hall
I remember long ago, the day i fell in love with you, before the chaos, before the judgement, before the world stole my view, the fun house mirrors surrounded me to distort my heart away, the lies of shapes and sizes told me everyday, i asked where was the love in all of this? and i begged to come back home, i closed my eyes, and in a dream i knew your answer was no, this "why?" was a constant question, when i saw you in my dreams, and when the lies became overwhelming, i closed my eyes to see, we met in a beautiful banquet hall, with rose colored carpet and chandaleres, you stood in the middle of the room and danced with me, and you shattered the mirrors of fear, you held me in your arms as i cried out all of the pain, and wiped my tears, and said to me, "now go back and do it all over again.."
