A Precious Treasure
Heard the word treasure Think of a bag of gold Rare coins An old book autographed by a famous author They have a great value Our greatest treasure is none of these It is a treasure of life Our lives are precious They are not hidden Locked in a safe place Each day we go through fears Hurts and Opportunities of the world This precious treasure of life St. Paul say says is carried in a week Easily broken Earthen Vessel We are the children of Adam In Hebrew means “one taken from the ground The vessel is earthen But the treasure is spiritual One day at journey’s end The vessel will return to its native earth But the precious treasure it sheltered Be presented into the saving hands of Eternal God But we hold this treasure in earthen vessel 2 Corinthians 4:7
