A Question Unanswered
A question unanswered is a cordial invitation to thought, a wide open door prepared to transport you to new places, Places not seen, places unknown, places you may only view within your dreams. As you live, day to day, you can’t help but ponder, And you ask yourself queries you can’t seem to answer. Our world is a place inundated with secrets, Hiding details and solutions to bring a halt to our wonders. You meander through endless trails of ideas and images adorning every crack and crevice in view. Hungry for answers, we hunt for reasons and explanations as a lion stalks its next meal. Amongst all the muddle and bluff, there’s one thing we can still prove to be true, A question left unanswered is never alone. Just as dominos topple upon each other, one leads to another and your journey has only begun. Your questions lead to theories and your theories lead to questions, Which leads your mind on a ceaseless pursuit, just as a dog chases its tail. You contemplate and you challenge the conventions of life, You wonder of religion and how and why, Leaving your mind in a perilous state of strife. In the end, after navigating a serpentine path, you will come to an answer all of your own, The fog will lift and the birds will sing, as you reach the pathway’s end. And then, you begin again hunting the solutions to the questions left unanswered.
