He perished because he went into cardiac arrest. I was helpless to save him and my heart shriveled in my chest. Now I'm hated and have been disowned by my own father and mother. The reason why they hate me is because the dead man was my brother. (Even though this poem is fictional, it's very important that people learn Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.)
