The Storm
Streams flowing Birds chirping There is calm all around Sun shining Winds blowing Only peace to be found But darkness is approaching A storm is almost near There’s a grim look ahead There’s much to fear We must grasp We must hold To all that we love We must hope We must pray To the stars above To break this storm down To bring back the light Once that it’s gone The sun can shine bright Rain pouring Wind blowing Lightning strikes all about Thunder blasting Hail pounding All the power goes out Everything seems hopeless Like there’s no end in sight But things start to slow down The storm lost it’s fight We must rise We must fix All that was lost We must stay We must build No matter the cost The storm has passed Damage has been done But prayers were answered And here comes the sun
