A Mystical Rose
I look upon a single mystic rose Marveling at a world of beauty A light so bright my eyes begin to close I feel to protect it is my duty Here I stand within this quiet place Marveling at a world of beauty As the petals open I see her face She shines with the colors of a rainbow Here I stand within this quiet place Music from her lips begins to flow For a moment time begins to stand still She shines with the colors of a rainbow Leaving this place will take all of my will I feel I'm powerless to look away For a moment time begins to stand still So I marvel at the rose night and day I feel I'm powerless to look away I look upon a single mystic rose A light so bright my eyes begin to close Dedicated to Mystic Rose. I started to write this as a joint poem but could not stop once I started. Rose I will have to get you to start us off with a verse.
