In a Strange Land With Strange People
I left, I left my homeland. I would have loved to stay. Down memory lane... Rocked by sleeves with love, All stared with love. Love never crossed my mind, It was always in my mind. That was life. Love was life. Busking in the morning sun, Laughter was our warmth. No garment could do better. Laughter felt craving. Pabulum fills not laughter and love. Hearty laughter. Hearty warmth. Long walks to the dirty stream. That was all we had. Hiding and seeking in the stream, Life couldn't be better! Taller we grew, hiding and seeking outgrown. At the dirty stream, I found love. I left, I left. I could have stayed. I loved my homeland. I had to depart. I had to face fact. I went to paint the future. Twas getting brighter. Love my only possession. The actual already was. How fortunate. In a strange land, Of a strange people. Sweat and blood ran down my brow, Palms hardened. My skin darkened. My body wearied. Love strengthened me In a strange land Of stranger people. The atmosphere is thick, The brightly painted future, Followed by a dark cloud. Everything is dimmed, In a strange land Of a strange people. Hubbub, fumes, darkness. I remember my homeland. I left. I could have stayed. I remember the spilling laughter Love my only possession. I breathe my last.
