Something Different
SOMETHING DIFFERENT Winter is different than Spring Autumn is different than Summer Each in its own right is a wonderful thing None is considered a bummer Some folks like one season Others like another There you have a reason We're different from each other Have you ever considered why Storm clouds bring on rain Peeling onions makes you cry Blue skies bring joy again What makes you gleeful? What makes you sad? What makes you peaceful? What makes you glad? The answer lies in your mind As you think, so you are Seek, and you will find What you are seeking for But on your quest for inner peace Your paths will be different than mine Therein lies the difference In two members of mankind Though we are different, in the end We may reach the same conclusion So don't be disheartened, my friend Don't wonder in confusion Seek the One who created you He'll welcome you as His own To Him who holds a different view We're His, and His alone
