What's One More
A little squirrel, a stranger Came into my yard. He was met with opposition By the local boys. He was hungry you could tell And would not be denied Each side took their places And thus began the fight. Three of them did chase him Up and down the trees. The fourth was busy eating And scratching at his fleas. "Hey you little rascals Leave this guy alone Can’t you tell he’s hungry Look at his little bones.” Yes, I thought you would scoot, But I also feared That our little stranger Would up and disappear. Come on little one No need to be afraid There is plenty food for all If need I’ll keep you safe. Ok, come on down you twirps, Help your self to the seeds There’s always room for one more All I ask is Peace. I don’t care how long it takes I’ve nothing else to do. I’ve made up my mind The rest is up to you. Cile Beer
