Thursday's Raindrops
I searched everywhere for days blinded by commotion, and trailing the scent of your body... I assumed wildrose was the perfume you wore, and 'though I saw many roses on my path, none of them smelled like that... and these Thrursday's raindrops are becoming me! This confession I have to make before leaving: I liked you as friend...nothing else; I trusted your words as you trusted mine: a secret of two friends, but another urge stronger than desire is making me falling apart... should I fall in love or still get hurt? How did a simple emotion turn into a strong feeling? Your unspoken thoughts must be like mine: never decided to say what going on inside... and if doubt kept you from shoutjng it, don't wait any longer! I wouldn't be lonely and watch Thursday's raindrops fall and think that I don't deserve you because of my cheating that led to a mistake. How slowly Thursday raindrops fall! Don't they make these hours seem longer? We should be hugging, sharing fast and dreamy heartbeats! We should be kissing under that lilac moon shining up there! Delude me, sweet fantasy: make her appear into my warm and scented sheets!
