The Four Letter Word
There are many who are in me, many more who chase me, and some still who I’ve never met who are convinced they have found me –I am both sympathetic and sad for them I have lived since the beginning of time, and some believe in my purest form, I can never die, I am stronger than fear, I’ve always defeated hate, and my presence during heartache and grief can alleviate even the most deepest sorrow, I can be elusive, but I can endure, I can be fleeting and thereby at times bitter sweet, I can be exhilarating and wonderful, yet concurrently agonizing and painful, I am essential to many, promised to none, and felt by all in some way –I truly believe that When embraced, I can unite hearts, save lives, incite understanding, inspire thoughtful words, and song I can touch the entire world, I can heal this place, I am so powerful, There have been many who have simply given up on me, frustration in their voices, discouragement in their hearts, Then there are those who say it is better to have found me and lost me….. I implore you, if fate allows, and you find me, hold on to me, and try never to let go
