Like a father who protects his home, his wife, his children, I protect my garden, I prevent erosion. Parallel to the husband, the father, who is there to preserve, keep out impurities as well. I am a strong green vine running along pathways, guiding you along the way. The father also guides his children and is a strong, yet gentle presence in the home for his wife. Sometimes I stop, rest upon a fallen limb, waiting for my company. Likewise the husband must cease, take a moment to breathe, rejuvenate. I do pray for you even though you may never know.
