Silent Roads
Somehow... I find myself caught between An endless road of unending pleads Voices echo where no one has been Yet echoes of opportunity to yet seek Do I need to know? Do I need to hold on? Forever is life an insufficiency to show When an ever in life you have and is gone Things we do... how things we don’t Perhaps a different shade, a different light Forget focus... forget marks hone For where there be peace... there be fight Have you the idea of love and hate? Have you live enough to die for? Would you have eagerness to await? Would you rather a silent or an open war? The endless conflicts as I sat myself between The unending roads as I hear the silent plead When I am there I have no idea where I’ve been Yet never there have I the finality to finally seek
