Sandy Hook Elementary
Taken Away Though they wanted to stay Christmas just a week away Not having a chance to say goodbye Leaving mom and dad behind Peace and Comfort they need to find A senseless Act Wishing they just came back No words can be said Hugging my children tighter before they head to bed Reminding us to cherish life alittle more Say I love you as you walk out the door Nothing can fix the damage that has been done Rest in peace precious little ones This tragic event is not the first nor be the last but if we work on change we can put it in the past Where was God in this senseless act? Wanting these lives to simply come back Satan came in his place Evil layed down his head Leaving behind pain and dread Oh' Christmas Tree Oh' silent Night Twas evils will in this plight It shouldn't of happened, especially not this way So say, i love you before you start each day
