The Boxer's Arena
He steps into the ring pristine From thousands of hours training Featuring a sleek, lightning speed to match Dynamic power punches and delivery But all that is a secret The opponent comes in unknowing Facing off to determine The nature of the challenge Two fighters tangle First softly, like gentlemen greeting This is not barbaric blood lust They tease and taunt Getting the crowd on the rims of their seats Good money is thrown to view Adversaries compete in their element In the first round, they dodge and weave Ducking single power blows Getting by on body shots Round two, our boxer comes alive All his muscles stretched and poised He delivers magnetic combinations In this charismatic tour de force Stripping the combatant of his wits The two gladiators dance But clear favor is bestowed In the third round The opponent puts up his best onslaught Throwing caution to the wind He is wounded and emergency spins Our fighter withstands the last death march And puts him down With a power packed uppercut Flesh hits the ground The ring official draws the curtain And the crowd goes raucus
