Holding my breath,waiting for the leaves to fall.. holding a match stick, my hands shaking.. i can feel the wind, i cant describe the feeling.. The papers turned to ashes & the pictures turned to gray, Memories in my head that cant forever stay. loving you was indeed the hardest thing, but i need to tell myself that i was not your everything. I gambled & realized that it was not a game i chose. I'd rather loose, than loose the person i love the most. I buried something valuable on the ground.. covering it with the sand, it was like a love that was Bound. i Buried it to the place where we first met. burying it with no regrets, not waiting for the Sun to set. with it were remembrances & memories. like the preserved petals that symbolized my miseries.. the Pendant you gave that has lots of meaning, and the ring that used to mean everything.. while walking home with my friends, i gave something away.. but the young girl promised to take care of it everyday.. i was convinced that she needed it more, She was lucky.. she smiled, thanked me & walked away. at least it made her happy. All cherished & possessed, kept it for years. waiting for a purpose, bearing all my fears.. buried & burned, it was the memory of my past. leaving all of it behind, our story that didn't last.. i didn't give up, I just want to live another day, to prepare myself for the next guy Who'll take my breath away.. It's just my fears & pain that i need to throw.. something that will let me live in the present,It's called "letting go".
