9/11
All the lives that died that day, All the lives that were taken away. All That time their families waited, While they lied there and suffocated. All the blood that was shattered and stained. All the dead bodies that lied there and remained. All the tears that were shedded, And all of the hearts that were broken, While the twin towers were burning and smoking. All the fire-fighters run in and out, While people would scream and shout. Crying and screaming, smoking and burning, While bodies were flying and turning. Families call with worry and wonder, While all they could hear was thunder. While call of friends with so much fear, While watching the television and braking down into tears. So many lives died that day, But every year on 9/11, we take a moment of silence and pray. No one will ever forget the north or the south tower, Because we will always remember how no one was a coward. All the burning of the towers flare, But when the rubble was removed our flag was still there. All the hearts that stopped on beating, Began on freeing. All those souls who died on 9/11, Went to live with our lord in heaven. By: Kara Buckler
