Have you not guessed all life's the dream from softer sleep than we should know? Nothing is quite as it might seem as it's observed from here below, and all our plans that go amiss fail in the light of failings bliss. it's better lost--our hearts desire, than be the slave to life or love hipnotic in its burning fire though not the dream we're dreaming of; we have to take this costly pause and so we lose what never was. What's left is love that goes unkissed, as we dream on, and search in vain for something that we might have missed to add to years, and all our pain.
