The will of the flesh reaps corruption; The will of the Spirit’s a must. I will live soberly and righteously By the power of God from on high. I depend entirely on my Father— His promises, He’ll not deny. My sinful nature has been put to death; My life’s now hidden with my Lord. I Fix My Eyes On Eternity, Enabling me to stay in heaven’s accord. My Lord will purify me And redeem me from every lawless deed. In my heart, He’s fixed eternity To grow and bloom like a farmer’s seed. I look for the blessed hope And the glorious second coming of my Lord.
