Where Do You Go
The night sky calls, invites me home. The moon and stars shine all alone. The moon is full and starts to glow, When you’re alone, where do you go? The stars seem like diamonds in the sky. They have no wings yet they do fly. Their brilliance just continues to grow, When you’re alone, where do you go? The sun returns and shines so bright, Providing light to chase away the night. The rhythms of life still persist and flow, When you’re alone, where do you go? The air gets hot as the day lingers, I watch as life slips through my fingers. There’s something more I wish to know, When you’re alone, where do you go? The sun kisses the horizon as it sets, What you want may not be what you get. A cool evening breeze begins to blow, When you’re alone, where do you go? The cycle is complete as it gets dark, I look for a place to make my mark. The stars and moon begin to show, When you’re alone, where do you go?
