Rainfall
the rain falls, dissonant at dawn, clouds move overhead. echoing the things you wrote and of the things you said. and as the forceful rain falls down it comforts like a friend. i love to hear the rhythmic sound, it thrills me to no end. so keep on falling from the sky and nourish all that's real. and i will marvel, lost in sound and moments i can steal. for in those stolen moments are the wonder and the notion: those raindrops will someday go far and end up in the ocean. and when i think raindrops can jaunt, then i think: so can i. it's then that i know what i want: to travel through the sky. i'll travel 'cross the country till i reach my destination. now that's the perfect plan for me, a perfect revelation. something tells me life awaits, and living is for me, i'll keep on going till i reach a distant shining sea. so when the rain falls i recall all that for which i strive. i can transport like the rain and someday i'll arrive.
