A Parent's Wish
Oh how I wish for the right words to say, help me make a difference is what I pray. I want to stress never giving up or giving in, seeing as success doesn’t always mean win. Raw talent is obviously a perk, but there is no substitute for hard work. Respecting others is a good thing to do, same way you want them to treat you. Look for the best in the people you meet, since an unbiased heart can’t be beat. Assuredly you will reap what you sow, therefore compassion is a good thing to show. Don’t be stingy but share what you got, freely give even if it isn’t a lot. Telling the truth is always the best route, otherwise your sins will find you out. Put God in the center of everything, to receive true happiness only he can bring. This is just a little of what I hope to instill, for them to grasp all of this would be a thrill. Oh how I wish I am the best parent I can be, so the fruits of my labor I will one day see.
