My First Love
The healing of a wound that goes beneath the skin and the pain Endless amount like a knife has forced itself deep down Reality of not having the one you love Endless amount of tears shed while holding my pillow at night grasping for you only to find you not here Memories instead ofdreams thatcould have come true Endless nights looking at the phone hoping that you would call Knowing that I used to walk with the pain everystep I took Baring the fact that I lost us and sooner or later that our love would slip away Endless amount of compromise and fresh new starts I can write this knowing you were my first love maybe not my true love I can also feel that stamp on my heart that would never let me love another man the way that I loved you The only man I thought I would have ever truely loved.. Huh....
