India, My Mother India-W
Hail, Mother India, of scenic beauty and sages Welcoming God’s true sons through all ages. God made the earth and man made countries. I behold India expanding into the world’s pages. Thy glorious smile divine and earthly lands Showering wealth from well-stored hands Where the mind is free and head held high Where the mind is led forward by thee Where the Ganges, the Himalayas, men dream of god Where I am hallowed, my body touched that sod. Dread famine may prowl and tear my flesh, Yet would I love to be in my India afresh Fate may shower scalding drops of sorrow Yet would I love to be in India tomorrow. I dearly love India for its age-old vedic peace Now America, too for child-like beauty increase. ================================ Second Place win Contest : I applaud you - Rick Parishe
