Yes in deed he was Black his fur shinning, gleaming like a shinny new penny from the suns light shinning through the tall Pine trees. I stood ever so still watching him as he chewed the Berries off the brush, one by on this big wild Bear gently taking the berries off. I thought WOW something this big can be this gentle I was struck with instant love and respect. He knew I was watching him but never once tried to hurt me or growl he just kept eating and chewing until finally he had his fill. Then he put his big paws upon one of the trees and clawed it I jumped with such amazement. After he finished he went on his way and I rushed back to tell everyone that I had seen my very First Big Black Bear I knew from that day on I would love all Animals of all kinds Big and Small.
