The Beam
Everything crumbles Yet the support beams Still stand to let you know What you once had, As if to taunt and tease you The supportless beams are the Only thing left in your haunting, lonely, Blind, and mildewed world of self hatred The raunchy smell of death is enough To make you violently vomit You look for a rope to end it once and for all, But instead find a memory that was once A happy pace in your life Then it’s a race till you realize, eventhough The rope would have ceased all the pain, One day your life will have an even flow And for some reason you still remain At your sanitys breaking point, a different Beam blasts blindly into vission, a sunbeam Then a warm, secure, gentle hand reaches down To pull you up out of your deserted, tainted, And stranded world to start everything Brand new, A new You
