It All Started With Three Nails On a Cross
It all started with three nails on a cross Written By Dean Masciarelli March 6, 2010 (9:28am) It all started with three nails on a cross And then when Jesus died he went to hell Where he spent three days and three nights there for one purpose to try to save some souls And on the third day he rose from the dead according to the scriptures And the first ones to bare witness to his rising were some of the ladies that were near his tomb Yet so many people had trouble believing this And then Jesus appeared to the dejected apostle Peter and he walked with him by the flowers and shrubs And as they walked through the garden Jesus tried to explain to Peter That the enemy didn’t want to let Peter go But Jesus let Peter know That he wouldn’t give him up Because he knew Peters heart and that’s why he forgave him So that Peter could share his gospel with those who sit in the darkness Because he wanted Peter to try to change the evil thoughts of the natural minds of men And in the process it literally changed Peters doubts And all the sorrow that he carried in his heart And then Jesus vanished as quickly as he appeared And Peter knew in his heart that he was given a second chance And it just goes to show all of us that Jesus truly has such a forgiving heart And that is why he died with three nails on the cross So that he could forgive us for our sins If we would just have enough faith to believe in him For he will never forsake us because that is his promise
