A Dark Walk Home
The wind is whistling through the trees, fear has brought me to my knees. The moon is bright and full, it's time for the midnight ghouls. Trying to outrun the dark, I an feel terror making it's mark. Stumbling and tripping as I run, All Hallows Eve is full of dark fun. Hearing the footsteps right behind, my house I may never find. What was that in the bush? My insides turn to mush. Trying desperately not to fall, behind me I hear an evil call. The witches cooking up their brew, what am I supposed to do? In front of me is a black cat, over my head just flew a bat. Surrounded by shadows and the night, for my life I'll have to fight. Did you hear that distant howl? What about that creepy owl? On the wind you'll hear my screams, Claimed by the ghosts and undead things.
