I’m surviving finally free from Not thinking that I was wonderfully made Because I didn’t have the same star quality As someone else. Not ever feeling true love Because I was seeking it in the wrong region of space Dealing with corrupted minds of aliens From asteroids of arrogance and angst. I never thought I would fall into the heavens Of positivity I never thought that I would take off my goggles And say that I survived the mission I never thought I would be on board Traveling many light years as the captivated cadet Of hostility Nasty nebula was mission control. I say it now I’m on a new mission As a prosperous captain Of confidence It may pull me down Stronger than gravity’s force sometimes But I have a made up mind I’m standing firmly with an upside down frown Mighty motivation is mission control.
