Poem
(Inspired mostly by characters performed by Abigail Breslin and Sofia Vassilieva in My sister’s keeper [movie]) And when your time has come; Death behind you impatiently plodding its enormous foot in lucid glee, People will tell you all is well and you’ll be fine, They will say through your dark’s midst there’s a lighten light, But even if honesty be with you not; for the love or sake, Though they wear smiles that is all fake, Frankly they rant and rave from within like bothered spirits Or maybe the better they feel to know what’s right for you, But the truth remains honest with everyone, The truth never lies, The truth doesn’t care how you or they will feel, And that’s the only thing we all have to learn to appreciate, Even if the bond kept us well bonded_ Like lasting glue against fixtures wood Even if sanctified hands nursed you for the good they could, The truth remains true with us all And no matter how ill at ease it might be to gulp down That’s the only thing we all have to learn to appreciate_ That one day sooner than later when death’s drums barrel at your gates One day when the light in the tunnel last of all fades, And darkness enfolds your dark’s midst with darkened dark… And when your day has come; For life to depart your form And perhaps you go back to where we initially from, In arms of just right and divine embrace, And when your day has come… The truth is the only thing we have to appreciate, That you gone forever and never coming back, And we only hope to see you again; one day when our days come, If we will not be seized out of sync by the black linings between a nightmare and bliss! [Because I should; I will read Jodi Picoult’s novel]
