stains

There’s so many stains on my floor
From your cat’s
To the bleach
That spilled on the floor
I wonder if the
Scent of my room
Had changed
From the very presence
Of you
& not in a good
Way either
Might as well
Dismiss the
Rest of the
Trauma because
Living with you
Felt like my all time
Low. I feel as though
I can’t recover
From living in that
Filth
It has traumatized me
Left a stain
That was molding
Left a hole
Never to be
filled again
Can never
recover from
To go back to
My high
Standards
Of messy
Your filth
Has plagued
Me
Left me
Feeling broken
My feelings
Of never
Being enough
Amplify through
The streets
Never to
Return
Or be rebuilt
Again
No amount of
Cleaning
Would do the
Job
The stains are
There
Permanently
Staring back
At me
Consistently
Reminding me
Of the mistakes
That I can’t
Take back
That followed suit
To loving you
