the adorable designer

The push-pull that provides rapport
Could faith in designers restore
More sense of our choice
Tempts us to rejoice
And make love not war with their door

Your limerick poem, dear Duke, is truly fascinating. It beautifully explores the idea of design's ability to unite people and foster harmony, while also delving into the interconnectedness of design, choice, and the potential for peace. Your choice of words such as "push-pull," "rapport," "restore," "rejoice," and "war" effectively conveys the theme of tension and resolution. Through skillful word selection and the use of alliteration, you highlight the importance of finding balance and harmony through design.

I get frustrated with doors like that. I always prefer the ones that just open when they sense someone close. However, that can't work for every space so yeah. Pull, push... Even the signals are stressful sometimes because my brain hears the opposite. Nice video and that's how people come up with solutions, fixing problems that other solution causes.

Thought provoking limerick Duke, one thing for sure, life's not always easy. Hope you're keeping well, just back from Turkey. Tom

Duke, love it! I'll say it again...doors that are extremely heavy in public bathrooms, knobs that don't hold your towel up in gyms, sliding doors in bathtubs that annoy, cold & hot switched around to confuse, let's not stop there, we are trapped in mazes, fences, gates, islands, slow down bumps and humps. Annoying! What has happened is easy & cheap fixes are mandatory for these engineers.

Hello Duke, your limerick packs a profound punch! The video context adds layers of meaning to the clever wordplay. The "push-pull" of faith and choice, rejoicing in design - it prompts deep reflection. You've crafted a deceptively simple yet richly philosophical piece. Bravo for making us ponder life's biggest questions through deft rhymes! - Blessings, My Friend, Daniel
