Bloggers Photo

During the Great Recession is when I started to write. I also read a lot of classical stuff at that time, such as The Arabian Nights and the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen.

Every poem is like an experiment. Sometimes I know how it'll end and sometimes I surprise myself. I use slant rhyme and like to find new and unusual word pairings. I'm Christian and grew up in the Southwest and that's apparent when you read my stuff.

My favorite poet in the world is Emily Dickinson.
