Our journey of life, if ye recall
One distant eve we met, can ye recall?
Our life set by that date, can ye recall?
We had some doubts how far we will travel,
We did travel jet set, can ye recall?
Dark was the night and darker had turned clouds,
We’d got drenched, not just wet, can ye recall?
Many a dream was dreamt in our young eyes,
Look how wide eyes now get, can ye recall?
And whenever separated were we,
Both felt lonely, I bet, can ye recall?
That day, our hearts though never made of stone,
Turned wax-like soft in state, can ye recall?
That distant eve as I dwell on it now,
Had for life set our fate, can ye recall?
